Tribal Meeting January 25th 2004 of the Chumash Y-Guides Tribe, Westside YMCA, Los Angeles CA

We gathered around the council fire.

Rafting Seahorse and Salmon Nemo hosted and served us Pizza.
Their Reef condo had a good meeting room lounge.

Prior to the meeting we ate Pizza.  Here Salmon Nemo, in yellow, tells the braves a thing or two.  Most braves wore the Y-guides vests and patches.

Here the big braves talked and ate too.  The tribal council fire and talking stick is ready for the meeting.  It had a pedestal at this nice meeting room.

Then the Meeting began...

Group shots.  I like the one on the right.

Host Brave gets to bang the drum and call all the Braves to the circle.

We said the Slogan and Aims.

Passed the talking stick.

Then moved on to the craft and fun.

We made Arm Bustles.

Majestic Bald Eagle scorches a talon on the hot glue gun.  Little braves put the feathers on and the big braves handles the hot tool.

Speedy Shark has a great set of arm bustles.
